America’s Great Goddess is a dark-skinned, full-bodied woman, wearing a feathered headdress and a skirt of tobacco leaves, who in 1492 came to symbolize the First Lady of the Americas and the western hemisphere when the cultures of Europe met the cultures of the Americas. They were traders, farmers, artisans and healers. The Indian Princess fused European Liberty and Minerva to become the Great Earth Mother of the Americas.
